The Glitches of Brooklyn is the debut gallery show from innovative digital artist Daniel Kramer, AKA The Visceral Glitch. The original art depicts distorted versions of iconic Brooklyn scenes printed on canvases, pillows, and shirts. Illuminating our blended digital/physical experience, each piece will animate via augmented reality.
The Visceral Glitch aims to viscerally provoke viewers to question their perceptions, using sight, sound, and motion to create a full sensorial immersion. He starts the creative process with photographs shot from unusual angles. He then pushes and pulls the images through a series of apps, layering multiple photos, graphics and adding stretched-out sound effects until the imperfections reveal an unseen beauty.
