This piece started with a photo I took in New York—5th Avenue, the Empire State Building towering above, the city moving like it always does. Later, a neon message found me: All we have is now. Those two moments fused—a glitch in time that felt right. I debuted the final piece in Miami during Nolcha 2023, but the message had already landed. It’s a reminder I return to often: be here, fully.
